Hello! I’m Alex, a recent Art Graduate living in the Steel City of Sheffield; with my heart belonging eternally to the countryside!

I’m completely obsessed with anything old fashioned and have magpie tendencies; hoarding everything remotely sentimental.

My days are spent out walking in the Peak District or wandering around craft and vintage fairs in the city. You can also find me at home sat at my sewing machine, or busy in the kitchen testing out new recipes.

On 'Cobbles and the Country' I aim to take you with me on my adventures as I find my way through the city and get lost within the countryside.
